Woops!

It took some time

Now I know that I am in an advanced clown class. It only took us a week to get to our first crotch kick and in a few minutes I will be participating in the first banana peel piece (yes, in this line of work even gags can be called pieces).

I am still somewhat safe and sane, though I have to keep reminding myself that if I knew any of this stuff I would not be taking this class. If only I had realized this in school I may not have spent so much time trying to get things right. I may even have learned something. Oops.

There is no gym here so I have had to start running in the mornings. Not quite the testoroni rush I have been used to, but a weirdly satisfying way to start the day (except for this morning, the aforementioned banana peel piece leaving me with a rather sore bum.)

The delirious happyness of a week ago has turned into a deeper contentment spiked with blissfully short pangs of self doubt. So things are pretty normal. Well kind of normal. Normal as can be when one spends half the day wearing a red nose and falling over. I miss all of you.

All Props to MissintheMix Hannah Metcalfe who is performing today (or last week, rural california is rather slow) in London. I hope the scones turn out well. Turn out. Well do what you expect them to do.

I may have pictures soon...

oh yeah

Happy August!
