The first time I came to the metreon, it was 2000 and the dot com bubble was deflating. It was like coming to the future, especially after spending four years in kirksville. Now that the real estate bubble is gone. The playstation store has closed and a farmers market has carved up some prime class A retail space. Banners hang eveywhere announcing new retail and restarants in2010. Maybe they will come… But the smoothies I got still cost seven dollars so i know it is still san Francisco
